After a slow start to EV adoption, Subaru is on a tear. The brand’s first EV, Solterra, gets a significant refresh for 2026, and the new 2026 Trailseeker EV was unveiled at the New York Auto Show in April. Now, Subaru is announcing another new EV: Uncharted. While we don’t know everything about this new compact EV, we do have some details.

Mazda’s CX-5 has long been the sports car among mainstream compact SUVs. We expect the redesigned 2026 model to continue in this tradition, offering engaging driving experience paired with upscale cabin appointments.
